Here’s where our very proud announcement comes in.
Cashrewards is super proud to have hit a major milestone in giving back. We’ve now been able to help 1,000 kids in need through our support of the Starlight Children’s Foundation.
Who deserves the real thanks though?
It’s you, our valued members who have made this possible. As of July 1st, 2017, Cashrewards joined Pledge 1%, pledging 1% of cashback payments, employee time and equity to helping seriously ill children through our partnership with Starlight. Without the continued support of our loyal members, we simply could not give. So, thank you.
But we’re not stopping there
1,000 kids is an amazing milestone to reach but our work is not done. Our goal is to help 10,000 seriously ill children by 2020. At the time of publishing, with your help, we have been able to give back and help exactly 1004 children. We still have a lot of work to do!
Why Cashrewards gives back
Apart from being the backbone of our business, Starlight is a charity close to the hearts of Cashrewards Founders Andrew and Lorica Clarke. At a young age, their son Sam needed the help and support provided by Starlight over a period of two years during his treatment and recovery.
That unconditional love and support from Starlight is something that Andrew and Lorica have been truly grateful for ever since, and are now proudly in a position to give back and support the charity that had helped them and their family so much.
About The Starlight Children’s Foundation
The Starlight Children’s Foundation aims to brighten the lives of sick children and teens and provides innovative programs aimed at their recovery. Last year, Starlight created over 522,000 unforgettable experiences for sick kids. That’s over 1,400 amazing Starlight experiences for sick kids every single day.
