Cashrewards: A Great Place to Work

At Cashrewards, we love nothing more than to bring joy into people’s lives. Whether through the great cashback offers we provide our members, the awesome relationships we have with our merchants or the work we do with the Starlight Children’s Foundation, it’s enshrined in our values, mission and culture.

We work for a greater cause and we succeed together.

But, as the saying goes, you can’t build a house without a strong foundation, or to put it another – slightly more delicious way – you can’t make a pizza without a solid base.

Which is why it’s so important to us that our employees love working at Cashrewards, that they know we care about them and will always put them first. We want them to love what they do, because if they’re happy, that happiness will make everything they do, even better.

So, you can imagine how thrilled we were to achieve the “Great Place to Work Certification”. If you can’t imagine, that’s fine, we’ll tell you. We were super thrilled!

According to the survey, an incredible 91% of Cashrewards employees said they agreed with the Great Place to Work Statement, and 99% said that when they joined the company, they were made to feel welcome. Cashrewards CEO Anthony Seymour-Walsh says, “We have an incredible culture here at Cashrewards that we're extremely proud of. Not only do we make every day more rewarding for our members, the entire Cashrewards team has contributed to creating an amazing place to work.”

This doesn’t happen overnight. It happens over many nights. Over the last two years we’ve worked hard to put initiatives in place to make Cashrewards what it is today.

We’ve been laser focused in this pursuit, implementing people and culture strategies to make Cashrewards an employment leader in the industry and an employer of choice. We’ve increased female representation in our world class group of Executive and Senior Leaders to 60%. Chief People Officer, Sian Johnson says, “We’re so proud to have earned the Great Place to Work Certification. A huge milestone for our business and what a journey it has been!”

We’ve created a 94% sense of belonging amongst our team, and both championed and celebrated flexible working conditions with initiatives including one that lets employees work from anywhere in the world for 90 days of the year.

And our internal awards, held quarterly, are a time when we can all come together to celebrate our people and our company values. Our fabulous winners all receive crowns and trophies to reflect the kings and queens they are.

At Cashrewards we’re extremely fortunate to have such incredible employees who consistently go above and beyond to deliver exceptional results to our members, merchants and charity partners. They are the awesome base that allows us to build our delicious pizza. Working tirelessly to bring joy to people’s lives with great deals and awesome relationships, and they deserve not just a great place to work, but the best place.

What began as a team of 40 in 2014 has since grown to over 200 employees and looks likely to grow to 275 by September, and for every last one of them, we plan to put the certification resources to use, to better the culture and continue to make Cashrewards a great place to work.

To our amazing employees, thank you for being such an amazing team. Without you, there would be no pizza.
