A Cashrewarding Nine Years

Birthdays are a time for celebration and reflection, and quite often, cake. Which is why, on our ninth birthday, we took the opportunity to reflect on, and celebrate, some of the incredible wins we’ve had over the last nine years. We also have eaten some cake.

With over 2000 brand partners, and over 1.9 million members, Cashrewards has grown a lot, and to celebrate, we wanted to put on an epic shindig of exclusive cashback deals and festive offers. A big ol’ birthday bash, Cashrewards style, and everyone was invited!

It was an awesome occasion, but it was just the beginning, because when we looked at the results, we realised there was plenty to celebrate after the event as well!

All categories came to the party, with top performers being tech & electrical, fashion and travel. We saw a 75% increase in the total transaction value for travel, a 40% increase in new members shopping for fashion, and an 89% increase in shops for tech & electrical compared to our 2022 Cashrewards Birthday campaign. Talk about something to hip hip hooray about!

According to Simone Tison, Client Services Team Leader at Cashrewards, “The Birthday campaign was a huge success. It was a culmination of the last nine years and a perfect celebration of where we are today. With incredible brand partners, engaged members and just a real feeling of joy.”

And, who better to share that feeling of joy with than all our fabulous members and brand partners? We simply wouldn’t be where we are today without them. Over the last nine years, our Cashrewards ecosystem has driven more than $3 billion of total transaction value for our brand partners. It’s not all about us, however. We’ve also donated more than $1.5 million to our charity partner, the Starlight Children’s Foundation, which has helped more than 36,000 sick kids and their families.

We made a lot of friends, and, in teaming up with ANZ, we were able to put our brand partners in front of millions of?ANZ customers, helping businesses scale, build brand?presence, and drive consideration and purchases amongst our valuable members.

In 2022, we took out a version of the ‘Publisher of the Year’ award at Rakuten Advertising’s Golden Link Awards for the second year running and were also highly commended for ‘Campaign of the Year’. It was an incredible moment.

Then, in June 2022, Cashrewards was named Australia’s Best Loyalty Program in the 2021/2022 Finder Customer Satisfaction Awards. Another cake-worthy moment. It was an honour to have our hard work recognised, as these wins increased the credibility we had with our members and brand partners and raised our profile even higher.

In short, it’s been an incredible nine years.

So, with the candles all blown out and the cake eaten, all that’s left is to say, ‘thank you’. Thank you for coming to our party.
